Meditation - Mindfulness
You can meditate whilst doing any chores by being 'mindfull'.
Walking Meditation.
Walk slow, keep your body relaxed and your eyes open.
Turn your attention to the movements of your body rather than just your breath.
Be aware of each movement, when your feet and arms move as well as your breathing.
Be aware of your legs and arms moving and pushing you forward. Be aware of the oxygen
flowing through you.
Give your task your whole attention, and perform every action with your entire concerntration.
Try this out at invervals in the day.
Doing something with your complete attention is called 'mindfulness'.
By doing this, which is easier than it sounds, you realise you can block out worries,
as your totally focused on the present moment. Try it.
